A one-of-a-kind Nomad Utility Vest in lightweight tan waxed canvas with denim lining, Japanese denim binding and pocket, with antique-finish brass snap closures. Cut from a fabric color no longer available — this exact vest won't be repeated.

Roomy, relaxed fit with low armholes, two lower patch pockets, a breast pocket, with a hem that scoops slightly lower in the back. Built for layering over a chunky knit, wool coat, or flannel shirt for extra dimension and warmth in any outfit.

Size: 1 only - fits S-M (see size chart below for finished measurements)

Care: Waxed canvas is low maintenance with specific care needs — coveted for its water-repelling qualities and patina as it ages. Sponge clean with cold water only as needed, air dry, no heat. Denim lining and binding has been pre-washed – lining is not removable. See below for detailed instructions.

  • Outer fabric: 100% Waxed Canvas 8 oz.

    Lining: 70% Cotton / 40% Recycled Cotton Denim 12 oz.

    Bias and breast pocket: 100% Cotton Japanese Denim 11.5 oz.

  • Care Instructions

    This vest will not need to be washed regularly. Airing it out away from direct sun is usually enough. Scrunching the waxed canvas gives it a more distressed look, or scuffs can be smoothed out by warming the area with a hair dryer on low heat.

    When needed, spot clean with a sponge or wash cloth, cold water, and a small amount of mild soap such as Castile or curd soap, or a dedicated cleaner like Otter Wax Canvas Cleaner* — available as a standalone bottle or as part of the Otter Wax Standard Essential Waxed Canvas Care Kit*. Re-waxing periodically may also be needed to maintain water resistance — Otter Wax* works well for this.

    A full sponge cleaning can be done for a refresh with cold water when necessary. Air dry — do not put in the dryer. The denim lining is permanently attached and will be cleaned along with the waxed canvas as one piece.

    Store unfolded or loosely folded to avoid permanent creasing.

    Tracking the package once shipped is highly advised to avoid missed or stolen packages, and to catch unexpected transit mishaps early. Items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, and you will receive an email with tracking information once the item is shipped.

Review the measurements of the garment to confirm fit. I am more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding size and fit.
