Summer sewing camp and reflections about teaching
Early in the summer, I had the opportunity to co-teach a week-long sewing camp for elementary-aged children at my friend Libby’s art studio and school—Scrap Bin Studio—which opened in spring 2025. Libby has created an incredibly charming and inspiring space where both kids and adults can make art, learn new skills, and express themselves creatively.

I taught my first in-person jogakbo class in Boulder, CO. I love the way it creates a communal crafting environment, while creating your own work or collaboration in way of sharing tips. I am inspired to host a small workshop at my studio and backyard this summer. More on that to come later!
Sweater repair video and Jogakbo patchwork class
I have a few rituals when spring is near, besides cleaning and storing my winter sweaters, I do repairs when needed, so I feel like I have a fresh wardrobe when winter arrives again. Perhaps this little trick, technique, hack or whatever you want to call it will help you repair those holes in your sweaters. Also, I’ll be teaching an in-person jogakbo patchwork class in May!
