The character of your finished piece depends on what you choose. Sheer or lightweight fabrics like cotton voile or silk organza let light pass through the seams, making the piece work as a window hanging. Opaque fabrics such as lightweight linen or cotton lawn read more as wall art or privacy curatins. Heavy fabrics such as cotton twill or Kona cotton are not recommended.

Because this pattern is a series of rectangles, the document contains a diagram of measurements for each rectangle. It does not need to be printed to scale like a garment pattern. This PDF can be printed on A4 and US Letter paper formats. Color is preferred, as there are some colored references in the diagrams. Print with normal ink usage — not draft or photo.
Single-sided or double-sided printing both work fine — this pattern doesn't rely on page order or facing pages. Each page is numbered, so pages are easy to keep in order regardless of how you print.
