At Mimi Shim Studio, my ethos revolves around creating timeless pieces that are meticulously crafted to stand the test of time. Each garment is a result of thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship, ensuring durability and longevity in both design and fabrication. Sourcing high quality fabrics and when available, re-purposing vintage garments, I prioritize sustainability and ethical practices throughout the clothing making process. Every step, from the initial sketch to the final stitch, is executed with precision and care to deliver exceptional pieces that embody the essence of slow fashion.

This is an evolving space as ideas ebb and flow, and like any creative endeavor, a work in progress / process. I’m not in a hurry to be selling product, nor am I interested in newness for the sake of seasons. The creations I display here are designs that can stand alone, for the present and seasons to come.
