the Oula Company

“Vibrant colors and patterns are OULA’s signature. Their visual language is inclusive and historically dynamic.”

OULA focuses on wearability and the perfect fit. They create trans-seasonal contemporary garments that exude simplistic ease and complement busy lifestyles.

I had the unique opportunity to develop a handful of dresses, skirt, top, and a jacket for the Oula Company, a Denver based women’s clothing line. Oula is known for their colorful African wax fabric dresses, and their garments are sold at various national stores such as Nordstrom, Shopbop, and the company’s online shop the OULA Clothing Company.

For OULA, I consulted the client on her design concepts, developed initial patterns, as well as cut and sew samples to be photographed and referenced for production. My knowledge of garment construction and proper fit provided a full service dressmaking and contract sewing experience.
