Pattern drafting and contract sewing work

This ruched front dress was developed for Mecla, who’s current lifestyle brand is Ak Ana. Mecla and I collaborated on this dress starting with her hand draped and stitched sample. From the sample, I fine tuned and created a pattern, and sewed a mock-up. From that mock-up sample, we revised the design, and shaped the garment as desired. Once the design was finalized, a size run of 5 sizes were made, patterns drafted, and sewn made to order.
